What Is Fiber Optic?

Even wonder how when you send an email, it arrives to the recipient exactly as you intended? Or how this website appeared on your screen after you entered the url? Information is transmitted digitally through cables (wired) or via certain radio signals. Community Fiber Solutions specializes in Fiber Optic Cable, which is not a traditional cable. Fiber optic is made up of long, thin strands of glass no thicker than a human hair.

A fiber-optic cable transmits data (information) through light pulses. It is the most advanced technology for transmitting data yet developed and operates as blazing fast speeds through protected cable networks. It is preferred where it’s available because of the speed and amount of data it can transmit. It’s common in either a home or a business to have multiple devices connected to the Internet. The more demand on the network, the better your connection needs to be to deliver high-quality service.
